I have worked with children in all situations since I was 12 years old from watching children in church classes to day care. My joy of teaching started at an early age. By my junior year of high school, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I started college at the University of North Texas and completed my bachelor's degree in Elementary education at the University of Utah. For three years, I taught fifth grade at Snow Springs Elementary in Lehi, Utah.
I moved around quite a bit as a child because of my father's job. I was born in Alabama, and then we proceeded to move to Louisiana, Colorado, and Texas. My husband, Scott, and I met in Texas during college and were married. Scott and I have been married for seven years. We enjoy traveling around the world, learning about everything, and spending time with our extended family. I quit my full time teaching job to become a mom.
